International Women’s Day 2021

International Women’s Day – Call for equal rights for women around the world. For me, it is a very special day that makes you feel the solitarity of women. We have come a long way with gender equality. It is bitter that there is still a struggle on many fronts on the road to equality.
My personal commitment is to support activities against genital circumcision. 68,000 women in Germany are affected, including 20,000 girls under the age of 18, and the number is increasing by 14% every year. The proceeds of the limited edition of my drawing „Fashion in the Course of Time“ (15 x 20 cm) for the price of 30 Euro including shipping goes to the organization intact e.V., which campaigns against FGM and supports women and girls in Africa. A project that needs support, especially in corona times.
